Insun Chong

Insun Chong was born in South Korea and grew up in Northwest Louisiana. He attended Duke University for college. While at Duke University, Insun obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in Pharmacology while also serving as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant and a Gordon Research Fellow. He returned to his home state of Louisiana for medical school at Tulane University where he engaged in a variety of student advocacy positions in addition to working as a DeBakey Scholar. Upon obtaining his MD, he completed his intern year at LSUHSC New Orleans with the Department of Internal Medicine. Currently, Insun is in the process of completing his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
